Macildowie HR is recruiting for a HR Business Partner position for a world-renowned Manufacturer based in Burton-On-Trent. My client is looking for an individual capable of delivering accurate and timely HR guidance across the full HR activity set. The position is for 12 months and is paying £30,000-£35,000 depending on experience.
The role will include resource planning, recruitment and selection, talent management, engagement and retention, reward and employee relations in order to maximize individual and business performance. You will act as the point of contact for complex HR policy queries, including management of disciplinary, grievance and capability processes. Advising on complex absence management cases, formal absence review meetings and where necessary occupational health appointments.
This a varied role, you will identify and support the business to successfully deliver credible, customer focused, cost-effective and innovative recruitment solutions using a range of techniques. Support line managers on employee career development and organisation succession planning, coaching and challenging individuals on their own career management. As well as working closely with Unions, being the key to contact on day-to-day operational matters.
The successful candidate will have manufacturing experience within a unionised environment, as well as excellent influencing skills. This role is very much a HR Generalist role but the key to success is the ability to build relationships with the management team, production staff and the trade union representatives, whilst being able to support with day to day HR queries and activities.
