Job Description

Macildowie HR are partnering a large organisation to source a part time HR Manager to join the organisation to work in a hands on role and to develop and execute the HR strategy enabling a high performance culture. Acting as part of the Leadership team you will build effective relationships through engaging and influencing on a range of HR issues and providing solutions and recommendations that demonstrates deep understanding of the business objectives and challenges. The role is based in Leicestershire and paying £40,000 - £55,000 FTE on 4 days a week working initially for a 12 month contract with some travel down south on occasions.

The Role:

Reporting into the Head of HR you will devise and deliver the overall HR Strategy, ensuring alignment with the business plan. You be an effective influencer in order to build credible partnering relationships with the executive team to ensure you're all pushing forward performance and ensuring growth plans are achieved. You will provide strategic and commercial advice on people matters to ensure key decisions are driven through.

You will be an operational expert, advising key stakeholders and line managers on a range of complex ER issues, being an advocate of the organisation's culture and core values and driving these through to your HR Administrator You will support and promote a high performance culture through the Company's annual performance appraisal process to ensure the process continues to drive performance to meet business needs through on-going review.

In this generalist HR role, a key focus of the role is to lead on organisation change management projects including transformation and culture change, building talent and succession plans across the business and drive the employee engagement agenda to ensure that employees connect with and commit to the business strategy, feel valued, are inspired to perform to the best of their ability.

You will use your experience to review Learning and Development needs for the area and propose activities to address these, creating business cases for justifying spend where necessary as well as drive the resourcing plan, ensuring high calibre individuals are attracted and bought into the business in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will actively lead on key strategic projects, such as looking at longer term reward issues and putting key processes in place.

The Candidate:

  • Generalist HR professional
  • Experience of leading complex employee relations cases
