Macildowie HR are currently working alongside a leading global organisation in recruiting for a HR Business Partner on a 12 month maternity cover contract. The position is reporting into the HR Director and will be truly generalist. This will is paying between £30,000-£35,000 depending on experience. The client is happy to offer both full and part time hours to accommodate the right candidate.
The HR Business Partner will be involved in a truly generalist position and will predominantly act as a catalyst in driving through HR initiatives and ensuring operational excellence. The areas in which you will be responsible for are recruitment, talent management, engagement, change management, performance management and changes to policies.
The HR Business Partner will work very closely with senior stakeholder across a varying client base but predominantly with finance and IT, and will act as a coach and business advisor in a bid to facilitate a collaborative learning culture, amongst other organisational changes. The postholder will have responsibility for employee engagement and resulting action plans which will likely involve pushing the agenda for talent management, performance management and succession planning.
As the business moves towards more of a values driven culture, the expected behaviours, performance and ways of working will continue to change which will require the HR Business Partner to amend current training, whilst developing new training and development programmes. Updating policies and procedures will be required, as will a review of reward and benefits offerings to ensure they align with the business values.
You will have past partnering experience and will have a generalist grounding with experience of implementing new L&D initiatives, whilst strong projects experience is a bonus. You will be CIPD qualified but will not need to have any specific industry experience. An inquisitive nature and ability to pick things up quickly is essential.
