Macildowie HR is pleased to be partnering a leading hospitality and retail business group with the recruitment of an interim HR Business Partner to join their business. This is a interim 6 month contract to cover an internal move brought about by a secondment. This role is a regional role, primarily focused in and around the North West and Wales. As the HR Business Partner you will work closely with a network of stakeholders including Regional Managers and middle management and support with all areas of HR; but with a particular focus around Employee Relations and succession planning. This is a pivotal position within the HR Operations Team as the HR Business Partner will be responsible for delivering the people strategy to a core business area within the group. You will work proactively with stakeholders to ensure a commercially focused people plan is delivered. Striving for continuous improvement and high levels of engagement within your region will be crucial for ensuring the business maintains is outstanding record of success. Key activities will include talent management, leadership coaching, upskilling of management capability, resolution of ER issues and identification of development plans. You will partner with the wider HR business functions of Engagement, Resourcing, LD and Reward and act as the conduit for planned HR projects.
The successful person will possess strong HR credentials, either as a generalist or specialist within ER. Previous experience of operating in a regional role and ideally within retail or customer service industries would be beneficial for the role. Â The HR Business Partner will be able to demonstrate proven experience of successfully coaching managers and upskilling their capability. They will be solutions orientated able to drive the commercial success of the business through improvement methods. CIPD qualified and demonstrating a pragmatic approach to queries and issues is highly sought, as is experience of working closely with the operational functions within a business.
