Macildowie HR are currently working with a leading manufacturing business to source a HR Business Partner (Projects) into a newly created role! Working within a small team you will work with all levels of the business juggling projects and workload whilst shaping the role yourself and created real value within the business. The role is a fantastic opportunity to make your mark whilst working with a new forward thinking MD. The role is based in Leicestershire and is paying £40,000 - £50,000 + benefits.
Reporting into the Head of HR and working alongside the HR team and managing a team of 3 you will use your previous experience to lead and deliver the people agenda for the site through successfully partnering and influencing the leadership team. You will be a fantastic relationship builder, able to challenge and influence your key stakeholders and deliver commercial driven advice. This, coupled with fantastic communication skills is important as you'll attend monthly leadership meetings delivering commercial solutions on the HR people plan.
This is a project focused role and therefore wont involve any employee relations. From the offset you will lead on a variety of projects, getting out onto the shop floor to understand employees needs and working with all levels including Managers up to the Managing Director. Key projects will include supporting in a brand new system implementation, change in shift patterns, change management including cultural change and engaging people through change, organisational design, working with key stakeholder's on what values really mean within the business and to employees and continuously changing the perception of HR. Day to day work will include talent management & succession planning, employee engagement and driving communication, implementing new policies & procedures and driving performance.
Traditionally the organisation has been a transactional service but with a recently new HR Director and Managing Director the HR function have already made inroads so you will be joining at an exciting time! This role could also become the successor to the current Head of HR.
