HR Manager - Corby - up to £55,000
Macildowie is delighted to be working with a growing business, going through a period of exciting transformation, in the recruitment of an HR Manager. The role will report into the Head of HR and will work as part of a small team. The role will be recruited on a permanent basis and will pay £45,000-£55,000.
Leading on HR for the Corby site of this European multi-sited business, the HR Manager will be accountable for the delivery of a high quality HR provision that will see the postholder leading on the delivery of the HR service, including leading projects and managing a small team. The HR Manager influence and steer the business to succeed in its strategic goals which will include redefining what good looks like and driving a performance culture at the current site and taking the lead on future site openings in the area.
The HR Manager will have total responsibility across the generalist remit including talent, succession, engagement, workforce planning, change, ER, union relationships and training, and will be expected to develop the HR function. With the business being in a fast paced industry, the HR Manager can expect to be seeing variety on a daily basis which may involve leading on complex ER cases, discussing succession plans with senior Managers or spending a bit of time at a desk to calculate bonuses or designing new processes and writing new policies.
Away from the day to day management of the operational HR service, the HR Manager will project lead on all change, transformation or value add project activity. Key measures of success for this role will be absence, retention, engagement and performance against business objectives.
To be considered for this role you will have a strong HR background with a lean towards a fast paced, high level service environment - this may be in a manufacturing, distribution, retail or high end service environments. Our client is looking for someone efficient in time management to ensure that projects are not sidelined for operational HR activities while strong relationship building skills are a must to bring senior stakeholders on board quickly.
