Have I got your attention yet?
I am working with a manufacturing business based in Derbyshire looking for their first ever HR Business Partner to drive their business forward through huge periods of growth!
You will have full autonomy for the people strategy across the site, initially focusing on succession planning, engagement, collaboration and performance management.
The first thing the Director said to me on taking the job brief is that they aren't looking for your old fashioned 'hire and fire' personnel department. So if you still think HR is just around to 'clear up the mess', then I'm afraid this role really isn't for you. They need someone with a track record of adding commercial value to a company, looking at progressive ways of working and new and exciting engagement initiatives.
This is a highly commercial role, but due to the nature of the organisation, requires a HR Business Partner that will roll their sleeves up and get stuck in as and where needed. You will be joining a company that are at the start of a huge change curve! After doubling their profits in the last 5 years, they are keen to continue this success for the foreseeable future and understand they need to adapt the way they partner their workforce to keep this momentum.
If you think you meet the criteria and can demonstrate commercial value you've added to a blue collar workforce going through a period of growth, please apply now!
