Our client is a UK leader with an exciting history and future changes to their operating model have created this new HRBP role supporting the HR Director. Due to a recent restructure and positivity in their sector overall this new role has been created to provide a proactive, commercial and strategic HR generalist partnership to the business to drive the people plan for each area with a particular focus on Management/Skills/talent management in support of the company's business objectives and strategic plans. This is a key Regional role with a support requirement to the head office role and will take responsibility for:
Being an influential and trusted partner with line manager stakeholders to support, influence and support the culture and environment for their teams
Aligning the people plan across key functions support functions to ensure contribution is aligned to long-term drivers of value for the wider business.
Coach and advise line managers to deliver the people plan
Support the resourcing team and other HR partners to attract, hire and retain a workforce capable of providing strong functional expertise with a continued focus on talent management
Identify capability gaps in key teams, working with line managers to close gaps, particularly around effective feedback, reviews, coaching and performance management
Act as a talent broker encouraging the transfer of individuals from one part of the organisation to another to obtain developmental experience.
Support difficult and exceptional ER cases to ensure policies are adhered to and business continuity is supported by coaching and support line managers to handle ER issues
Candidates will be expected to have excellent HR partnering skills and MUST HAVE (no exceptions) have worked in a multi-site/retail/hospitality/food environment where challenge at Operational level is a key part of your role. You will have a Generalist background and be able to clearly evidence all of your skills in a regional capacity including strong ER experience as well the ability to deliver a wider business HR strategy across multiple locations. You will need excellent Partnering and communication skills with an agile approach in this changing environment.
