Our client is one of the largest businesses in their market and are recruiting 2 roles in this specialist HR team. One is a newly created role to support the Senior Manager of ER across the UK division in their London office. You will support the delivery of the businesses ER/IR strategy to achieve business objectives.
Key responsibilities will include:
Supports the Senior Manager and divisional EXCO with the IR/ER strategy, guidance on all aspects of business change while ensuring the employee relations climate remains stable & ER risk is minimised across any re-structures, outsourcing, acquisitions & disposals.
Supports with Trade Union consultation on all aspects of business change
Supports the negotiating strategy to effectively deliver the annual pay review
Facilitates positive relationships between the business and Trade Unions
Uses technical expertise in order to provide advice and find solutions to problems.
Identifies, assesses, manages and reports risks and controls.
Provide coaching & training to HRBPs and senior stakeholders
Candidates will be Degree educated or equivalent level qualification, be CIPD qualified, have in-depth experience of working with Trade Unions with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as team player. You will have the ability to assess potential problems and make sound judgments on issues that may have an adverse effect on the business from an IR/ER perspective and be able to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders operating at executive & senior management level. The Clients primary location is London but they do have a Milton Keynes based satelite location where some working can be considered.
