A fast paced growing East Midlands organisation are looking for a proactive HR Manager to work with the senior leadership team on the HR strategy and the overall people plan in a hands on role in order to push the business forward. Looking for a commercial HR generalist with experience of modernising a HR function and influencing leadership teams in order to achieve business objectives. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in an organisation that really values HR! The role is based in Leicestershire (commutable from Coventry/Warwickshire) and paying £40,000 - £50,000 + 3% pension (rising to 6%) + private healthcare etc.

Reporting into the forward thinking Finance Director, working as part of the leadership team and managing a HR Administrator you will work in the UK Head Office setting the overall HR strategy aligned commercial business wide objectives. You will be required to contribute directly toward the strategic development of the Human Resource function by developing a progressive, business focused strategy to meet the current and future needs of the organisation.

We are looking for a proactive, innovative and forward thinking HR professional who will work to empower employees through building effective relationships, bringing in new ideas and implementing best practise. Your key stakeholders will include the CEO, Directors and Management team and you will be required to work in a true partnership, challenging and influencing whenever necessary. Taking a hands on approach, you will provide advice on ER case work including performance management and absence management as well as looking at end to end recruitment, learning & development and reward. Key focuses will include talent & succession planning, employee engagement and looking and employee branding to ensure the business attracts and retains top talent.

The Candidate:
We are looking for a generalist HR professional who is engaging, inspirational and a vibrant character who is driven and excited to make a real difference to an organisation. You will have fantastic communicator and be an excellent influencer in order to build strong relationships with your stakeholders and to be able to challenge the leadership teams in board meetings. As you will work with a HR Administrator, you will take a hands on approach in order to support on a range of ER cases and operational work. You will be able to identify areas of improvement and implement practical solutions in to build the function from the bottom up.
