Macildowie HR are supporting a growing financial services business based in Derbyshire to source a HR Manager for a stand alone role. Reporting into the Managing Director you will be responsible for the full HR service including the operational tasks associated with the employee life cycle and delivering a robust HR strategy that supports the business. With a growing headcount and ambitious plans for the future this role requires someone with a true commercial understanding and entrepreneurial spirit. The business are looking for an experienced HR generalist who can demonstrate a strong track record of delivering consultative advice to SME/ professional service organisations. This is a permanent role offering a salary between £38-44,000.

As the HR Manager you will be responsible for working closely with the senior management team to deliver a HR people plan that supports in all aspects of the employee life cycle. Utilising your skills in relationship building you will work closely with your stakeholders to identify areas of improvement within the business be this in engagement, recruitment, learning and delivery or ER. You will provide consultative advice to the management team on matters of ER and be the go to person in the organisation for any queries they, or employees may have. This is a generalist role that will encompasses transactional aspects of HR such as contract administration through to people planning and organisational design.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role as either a HR Manager/HR Business Partner/Consultant or Senior Advisor.
You will have a strong generalist background and ideally have experience of working within financial services or professional services.
You will be a natural communicator with a strong coaching technique and someone who is able to build influential relationships throughout a business.
A self starter, who is confident in their abilities and able to embed themselves quickly in the business.
