Following 2020 companies are becoming more flexible and open to the idea that roles can be done well on a part time basis with good time management and resources. That said I am currently working on a standalone HR Manager role who is offering just that, and they can be flexible on what hours you work too!
You will be a pinnacle part to the growing manufacturing company of around 100 employees and be the first face of HR for the company. You will be responsible for setting up the function from scratch so you can really make it your own…cool right!
They require someone who will be on site to really grow the HR brand and assist with all of the following elements
- Reviewing and setting out a HR Strategy
- Updating or implementing new HR policies and procedures
- All company employee relations cases ranging from absence and performance to grievance and disciplinaries
- Day to day HR administration - sending out contract, offer letters, references, notes in meetings etc
- Managing company appraisals
- End to end recruitment of all company roles working with the key stake holders on the process
- Starter and leaver processes and management of HR data
- Absence management
- Basically, everything HR!
This is not a position suitable for professionals looking for a step up, due to the growth plans and demand of the industry it does require a candidate who understands the challenges of such a role.
