This is an opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a leading business, based in Nottinghamshire, as the HR Manager. This is a fully generalist role that requires the successful applicant to work on a multi site basis, with occasional national travel.
THE ROLE & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the HR Manager you will work alongside the wider HR function to partner the business and your stakeholders to ensure business objectives are captured. You will be responsible for ensuring the organisation is able to move at momentum in order to achieve its goals by contributing to the wider HR strategic agenda and its operational involvement in the business.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and challenge effectively within them are all key components of this role. You will work closely with senior managers across the business to ensure they are engaged with the HR strategy, that policies are adhered to and that HR's time is effectively utilised in order to achieve the best results.
EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
You will be a confident HR professional who can demonstrate expertise in a generalist role. A comprehensive knowledge of HR and employment law is required within this role. The successful person will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to demonstrate gravitas at an Exec level. This is a role for a proactive HR professional who enjoys taking the lead on projects and the wider HR agenda.
