Macildowie HR is pleased to be supporting the recruitment for the following position:
Job Title: HR Advisor (stand-alone)
Location: Milton Keynes
Job Type: Permanent
Job Salary: £24,000 - £30,000


This stand-alone position is required to provide general day-to-day HR support to Directors and Managers across the company. To support in the delivery of the HR service by providing effective advice and guidance to the business ensuring best practice.

The Role
This is a fully generalist HR position with the right candidate taking on the responsibility for:

  • Recruitment and on-boarding.
  • Policies and procedures
  • Employee relations across the full employee life cycle - Manage, advise, guide and support managers on all HR related matters, including but not restricted to; absence management, performance related concerns, disciplinary matters, recruitment and selection, leaver processes, restructuring ensuring full compliance with associated employment legislation in a timely and sensitive manner.
  • Training and Development within a sales environment
  • Complete ownership of the internal HR system - to include data input and maintenance ensuring accuracy of information. Produce reports as required. Management of employee records both electronic and paper based.
  • To advise employees on their maternity, paternity, adoption rights, flexible working - as well as rights under other HR policies.
  • Organise and participate in monthly management meetings
  • Work with the Compliance Manager to ensure compliance with Health & Safety
  • Monthly contribution to the internal newsletter

    The Candidate
  • Academic qualifications in HR, preferably studying to become CIPD qualified
  • Generalist HR Experience in a Standalone role
  • Strong employment law knowledge
  • Excellent IT skills, including MS Word and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proven experience of working within a sales environment
  • A positive and "can do" attitude and approach.
