Job Description

My client in Milton Keynes are a global leader and a business who continue to experience growth in their specialist sector. This role will play a key part in their wider HR function and SSC community. The business have a fantastic track record of growth and people development in their HR community. Based out of their Head Office this is a key role in the HR function and will report to the Head of the HR function whilst managing a large team of 15+.
Responsibilities will include:

Leadership & Strategy - Review the team Service Level Expectations), measure achievement against them and implement improvement activities where necessary.
Support in the delivery of consistent HR Services to the across HR Services.
Support the growth and development of services across HR Services, supporting and contributing towards ongoing process streamlining and automation opportunities and adhering to set governance.
Deputise and support other HR Services teams during periods of management absence.
Advisory Management - Managing a team to deliver an excellent case management service ensuring that stakeholders feel a real sense of ownership
Ensure resource levels meet operational requirements and ensure effective resource allocation of the Advisory team at all times.
Produce and review weekly/monthly management information for discussion with other managers in order to identify process improvement issues or learning needs.
Provide appropriate coaching and mentoring to team members to build and progress against development plans and seek to upskill and cross-train wherever appropriate.
Stakeholder Management - Build trusted relationships with HR Services peers and colleagues to enable the team to be provided with the relevant information to perform their role effectively.
Evaluate incoming demand and work with stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of existing and new work that the Advisory team delivers.
Identify potential risks or issues to the effectiveness of the service and work with the HR Advisory Senior Manager to resolve or escalate.
Build trusted relationships with HR and other teams as appropriate.
Candidates MUST Have in-depth SSC experience across an advisory function and you'll be able to clearly evidence your experience in the field as well as your ability to lead a large team. You will naturally be commercially minded, results driven with the organisation skills to prioritise business goals and needs. You will be a strong influencer and driver of change through strategic input. You will be a true business advisor with excellent stakeholder management skills, experience.
