Macildowie HR is excited to be working with a growing organisation in Warwickshire. They are looking to hire a HR Officer to join their first class HR team, to be based out of their Head Office location! This is a permanent, full time role, looking to pay £26,000 to £30,000 per annum.
The first and most vital responsibility of the HR Officer is to provide front-line HR advisory support in relation to employee relation matters, in line with national HR policies and procedures including; assisting with absence management across the office in line with the Absence Management Policy and supporting line managers with return to work discussions as well as planning, preparing for and attending meetings, providing professional guidance towards the outcome within disciplinary, grievance, and performance management.
You will also manage and assist with the recruitment process alongside the Central Recruitment team which will include conducting interviews and overseeing and conduct the onboarding and induction of new staff into the office(s) in close liaison with their Manager/Supervisor and working with other departments i.e. IT and Estates and other HRMs to ensure consistency of delivery.
Alongside the above you will arrange office HR training sessions, briefings sessions and drop in workshops. Providing support to the development and delivery of people plans and change management and supporting the L&D team with the co-ordination of training.
You will also be involved in any ad-hoc projects as directed by the wider business, such as working on the organisations wider employer brand, or the roll out of new HR systems.
The ideal candidate will have previous HR Advisory experience in a large, fast paced HR team, ideally within professional services, having great knowledge of employment law and best practice.
You should also have wider knowledge of the full HR function, across recruitment, L&D and Reward.
As a person you will need to be confident and able to manage challenging stakeholders, whilst being approachable and engaging for the employee population.
CIPD qualification is not a necessity but would be an added bonus!
