Job Description

An exciting opportunity has risen for a HR Officer to join a brilliant and forward thinking manufacturing organisation. Looking for someone who is experienced in a generalist HR role that wants the opportunity to gain exposure within a fast paced environment. You will be supporting the HR Manager and playing an active part in being the face of HR throughout the site. This position is permanent and our client is looking to pay between £22,000 - £26,000 (dependant on experience) plus benefits.


The Role:
Reporting into the HR Advisor and Manager, you will be responsible for looking after all aspects of HR. You will support and upskill line managers when it comes to policies and procedures and ensure these are being followed. You will also support them with all ER cases, sitting in disciplinary, grievances and making meeting notes in accordance to the outcome. Alongside the HR Assistant you will support with performance and absence management, ensuring the correct procedures are followed and managing this with line managers.
You will also be managing the recruitment process including authorising and advertising job roles, reviewing CVs, booking in interviews and providing detailed and appropriate feedback to the candidates. Following on from recruitment, you will also be responsible for the onboarding process ensuring that all offer letters and contracts are issued and completed along with correct and accurate right to work documentation.
This role will enable you the opportunity to get involved with various projects alongside the HR Manager and helping to implement new initiatives.
You will be the main user for the businesses HR system and ensuring that correct reports are pulled from this daily in order to track various data.


The Candidate:

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking at gaining exposure within a generalist HR role. You will need to have vast experience in a fully generalist role and be used to a fast paced hard hitting background. You will be able to use your own initiative and really get stuck in with various projects as well as the day to day operational side of HR.

- Previous experience within a HR Officer/Senior Administration
- Ability to work with autonomy
- The ability to handle a heavy workload with minimal supervision
- Previous generalist experience
- Experience in a fast paced HR role
- Good interpersonal skills polite and helpful at all times
