Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a logistics company within their HR team. Your role will have two areas of focus; one focus will be a true HR generalist role and the other focus will be systems and data reporting. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established brand in a busy and varied HR role.


The Role:
You will take on the role of a true HR generalist you must enjoy having a varied and busy role and be keen to develop your HR Skills
Be involved in and manage their more complex ER cases
Take an active role in recruitment both directly and through support the senior HR Advisor
Conduct research and analyse key aspects of the business performance and identify areas of performance improvement.
Focus on both quantitative and qualitative data surrounding various HR subjects to identify key trends and patterns.
Prepare presentations for senior management, HR and external customers.
Be responsible for analysing and implementing changes to their reward platform and performance system.
Manage reports for management across a necessary time interval, for example daily, weekly, month and quarterly basis.


The Ideal Candidate:
You should come from a generalist HR background with experience across employment law as well as having a passion for HR systems and processes. A good working knowledge of database management, including Excel (formulas, pivot tables, V Lookup and macros) and Access is essential for the role and you should feel confident using these to demonstrate clear and detailed information surrounding company information. You should take the initiative to identify new areas of the business that could benefit from further analysis and take a proactive approach to achieving tangible results for the HR team as well as the wider business. This role will be fantastic for someone who has a genuine enthusiasm for both HR and data analysis.
