Job Title: HR Business Partner
Location: Milton Keynes (with UK travel)
Job Type: 6 Month FTC
Job Salary: £32,000 plus car allowance

A leading organisation is looking for an experienced HR Officer to join their team on an interim basis, working in a generalist regional HR role. This is an exciting and dynamic opportunity for a proactive and confident HR professional who can support multiple sites working closely with the management team in a true partnership. The role is based in Milton Keynes with some national travel.

The Role

You will drive the business forward, working with the wider HR team on ER, L&D initiatives, Talent Management, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, and HR operations in a proactive and engaging manner. You will be confident in building strong relationships at all levels as well as be a strong influencer. You will be running investigations, dealing with ER case work as well as advising on disciplinary and grievances. You will manage complex cases and also mentor junior members of the team to support their growth and development. You will also be working alongside senior stakeholders to coach and upskill their HR understanding and knowledge.

You will be supporting with recruitment campaigns and liaising with line managers to take full job briefs. You will be advertising the roles on relevant sites and building relationships with external agencies. Within the role, you will be sitting in on interviews and coaching line managers on best practise.

The Candidate

You will have experience of working within a similar role and must have experience within a recent HR environment, working with a high volume of disciplinary cases , have experience of Tupe, and advising and supporting senior Managers and the wider HR team. You will be able to prioritise work loads and have a “can do attitude with regards to dealing with problems and picking up ad hoc work. You will be motivated and have good understanding of the current Employment Laws and be able to coach and drive policies forwards in line with this. You will be a strong influencer and able to challenge at all levels to gain credibility and to be able to push things forward.
