Macildowie HR has a great opportunity for an HR Officer to participate in a large range of HR activities, aimed towards a larger overall HR objective. The role is with an up and coming manufacturing organisation who are making great strides in their industry, based in Coventry. Pay £25,000 to £30,000 dependant on experience.
THE ROLE & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
The responsibilities in this role are; to undertake Employee Relations casework working with the relevant managers, staff and trades union representatives including but not limited to sickness absence, discipline and grievance. You will need to work in partnership with clients and develop a good understanding of their activities in order to work with the HR Manager and Director of HR to contribute to the development of HR plans which link into the overall HR Strategy. This role will also coordinate the day to day work of an HR Assistant including agreeing workloads and monitoring progress and be involved with the formulation and development of HR employment policies and procedures
EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
Proven experience in similar HR role, with great administrative and organisation skills
Excellent knowledge of HR policies & procedures
Able to work on own and make decisions
Sound knowledge of the principles of Employment Law in particular, Statutory rights, Equality Act 2010, Discrimination & rights of individuals at work
