Macildowie HR are working with a leading medium sized organisation based in Leicestershire to source a HR Shared Service Manger / HR Manager to work with the wider HR team. You will be an ambitious, motivated and influential HR professional who can lead, manage and motivate the team, work in partnership with the HR Business Partners and to work strategically to push forward the function. There is fantastic opportunity to get involved in numerous strategic and change management projects and we are looking for an excellent relationship builder. We are looking for someone with drive and the hunger to add value and make improvements and a credible HR professional to work with senior stakeholders with an approachable and friendly personality. The role is based in Leicestershire and paying £35,000 - £45,000 + bens depending on experience.
Reporting into a HR Business Partner, you will complete the various HR Strategy projects ensuring you're embedding and pushing forward the SSC into the business. Partnering key stakeholders including HR Business Partners and key head of functions, you will use your excellent communication skills and be a key influencer to build strong relationships quickly.
You will oversea the whole operational SSC process, managing and motivating your team to ensure they're providing an excellent customer service and acting as 2nd level query for any complex ER cases, new starters, change forms, leavers etc. You will a source of expertise for line managers and staff in relation to ER and SSC policy and process and ensure accuracy of all information of both system and hard copy files. You will be analytical in order to report on KPI's to monthly meetings, assessing your team performance and putting in necessary improvements where needed. Â
Do you want to get involved in key projects? In this role you will work on a range of forward thinking projects including: supporting the movement of more of a divisionally aligned HR function, system implementation and change management projects to name a few.
This is a really proactive role, and they're looking for someone to improve the SSC and bring in new ideas, propose solutions and drive through improvements to create an effective HR function.

You will have lead a team ideally in a shared service environment or within a generalist HR role with a clear understanding of practices/procedures and the end to end process. You will be a HR Generalist and have a fantastic operational background in order to develop your team and the function. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to hit the ground running, in order to build relationships with your key stakeholders from the offset. You will be proactive and have the drive and determination to ensure various strategic projects and processes are progressed in terms of the organisations timelines and be highly motivated, able to work well in a team and be highly organised in order to prioritise and meet the demand of deadlines. We are looking for someone with a proactive approach to identifying problems and formulating so you can continuously improve the function. In person, you will engaging, approachable and friendly with a good sense of humour!
