You will be an enthusiastic and inquisitive Insight/CRM focussed Manager who can deliver, drive and manage an Insights team to deliver data driven customer insight and recommendations ideally within a B2C environment. You will be skilled in data-driven direct marketing and channel marketing techniques and it will be crucial to interpret complex data sets and be able to present and influence senior stakeholders to make commercial decisions based on your findings.
The Insight Manager will manage and develop a team to deliver a forward thinking data driven insight strategy that will drive recommendations to enable the business to meet their objectives. You will be representing the UK market perspective and will support the senior management team in scoping future opportunities, projects and growth for the business.
It will be crucial to demonstrate strong relationship building and influencing skills to engage internal and external stakeholders which requires the ability to sell concepts and ideas to audiences with diverse skill sets. You will dare to be different and collaborate with the wider business to deliver innovations and ideas across data, analysis, insight and digital marketing that can deliver high impact/benefits to the organisation.
With regards to planning and scheduling activity the Insight Manager will develop marketing, research and insight plans that are based on data driven insight. You will be focussed on step changing the relationship between Insight and key stakeholders to ensure a customer focus in all business decisions. It will be important to deliver actionable insight by combining a number of data and research sources, including balancing the workflow of the team and ensuring deadlines are met.
Monitoring and reporting on competitor behaviour will also be key to establish market and future trends which could influence approaches and plans. You will need to define appropriate customer segments, offers, timings, communication channels, response mechanics and success criteria for marketing activity and work with other agencies to support these processes.
Finally you will produce regular reporting and oversight for the business line on key customer trends, ROI performance and promotional periods, workload allocation and team KPI's.
