Macildowie HR are working with a leading manufacturing business in Nottinghamshire who are looking for an Interim HR Manager to join their team for 12 months. They are looking to pay £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.
As the HR Manager you will be responsible for managing a team of 2 in HR, driving HR and ER processes across the business. You provide all advice and support to all function managers within the organisation and will lead the HR function to provide and efficient and pro-active HR service. Key areas of focus in the role initially will be to provide structure to the HR function including contributing to people development, strategic planning and setting out departmental objectives. You will head up all ER cases across the business working with the HR team to upskill their capability and ensuring the business are legally compliant. Other areas of focus will be around strategic planning for recruitment and selection, learning and development initiatives and managing on-boarding and engagement projects.
You will ideally be CIPD qualified and have previous experience working in a similar role and environment. You will have excellent motivational skills and will have proven experience in managing or leading a team. You will be confident leading on a high volume of complex ER cases up to Tribunal level and will have a sound knowledge in employment law.
