A Services business based in Northampton is currently looking for an Interim Procurement / Category Manager to manage the Supplier spend across 4 key Software Suppliers.
To be suiccessful in your application you will need to be well versed in S/W Category Management, Contract Drafting and Supplier Contract Management.
£400-£500 a day ltd company. This assignment will last for between 12 - 18 months.
Key responsibilities will include:
Developing and delivering a category management approach across the category through supply mapping
Ensuring value for money and compliance
Perform competitive tendering and benchmarking
Identifying and delivering cost savings and cost avoidance
Working closely with other members of the Procurement team as well as key internal and external stakeholders
Experience / knowledge required
Must have IT procurement experience across hardware, software, IS and services
Category management experience
Proven success in negotiations and tendering
MCIPS / Degree or equivalent
