Reporting to the Senior HR Partner and HR Director your key objective is to create and deliver a global internal communications and engagement strategy that engages and inspires the employees. They need passion and confidence from an enthusiastic communication professional with an HR background. As a creative thinker, you will have experience of developing employee communication plans and tools, leading projects and events and strong copy writing and editing skills. You will be a good communicator, with the ability to influence others, manage stakeholders and have the gravitas to engage with BOARD members.
What you'll be doing
You will be required to engage employees in the company's vision! The role will focus on continually assessing and make recommendations for improvement for all communications channels. Working closely with the wider communications team to ensure appropriate activity is translated and to share best practice. Business partner with key stakeholders across all functions to develop communication plans and campaigns for key projects and initiatives.
Write and deliver simple and engaging content for communication channels and deliver ad-hoc internal events and activities
Hold ownership of all company-wide communications and embed a way of working to ensure all communications are directed through the correct channel
Effectively understand and manage key stakeholder requirements to create a calendar of activity that delivers all key messaging
Lead annual employee engagement survey and deliver a comprehensive annual engagement plan that aligns with business objectives
Lead all organisation, content creation and delegate management, ensuring events are delivered on schedule and within budget Â
The preferred candidate will have:
Experience of having delivered internal communications or engagement in a large global organisation.
Knowledge of best practice internal communications channels and processes.
Sound judgement in an employee engagement context.
Good organisational and planning skills: can work with and set up processes that are simple but achievable.
Understanding of how to engage internal audiences in business objectives/strategy.
Knowledge of digital and social internal communication tools and how they can be applied to create a two-way dialogue with colleagues.
