Macildowie are currently recruiting for an Internal Sales person to work within a small team for a business based in Leicester.
This is a permanent full time position.
THE ROLE & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
To ensure all customers are served immediately on the counter and with courtesy at all times and answer phone calls as and when they ring, and deal with them immediately.
To book out customer contracts on the computer and amend accordingly.
To liaise with the other department members including transport, warehouse and management to ensure customer orders/enquiries are completed as instructed.
Checking the drivers in and out by signature on sale items.
Being responsible for all quotations by phone, fax or email and the monitoring of orders and quotes picked.
Ensure all paperwork is checked so as it is accurate before it goes to customers and when it's returned to be updated.
Record daily/weekly figures and liaise with management on them.
To over-see and maintain stock control for the depot
To keep shop and goods inwards clear and tidy in line with the company health, safety & environmental policy
EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
In order to be considered you MUST have internal sales experience, be computer literate, have an excellent telephone manner and also be able to deal with customer's face to face.
