International L&D Manager - Northamptonshire - £55,000-£65,000 - Permanent

Are you an L&D Manager looking for a step into a business with international reach? Macildowie Recruitment is pleased to be supporting a Northamptonshire based business in the recruitment of an International L&D Manager. The role will report into the L&D Director, will be recruited on a permanent basis and base salary will pay £55,000-£65,000.

The Role
The International L&D Manager will be responsible for managing the international team to ensure a high level of performance across the function. This will be achieved through effective line management but also through aligning the local learning strategies with the overall business objectives.

The L&D Manager will be an expert across the generalist L&D spectrum and will be responsible for supporting or leading on the development of programmes within management & leadership development, sales training, technical training, induction, performance management & coaching. The L&D Manager will work with subject matter experts and will maximise on using expertise within the team to ensure the highest quality of programmes are delivered, but will also encourage a culture of sharing to enable the breadth of expertise within the L&D function to grow.

The L&D Manager will be required to liaise and manage relationships with internal and external clients, so will also be required to provide reports on the effectiveness of L&D programmes.

The role will require some international and UK based travel.

The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will need to have experience operating at a senior level within a large L&D function. You will have managed teams and will be comfortable working with autonomy. You will be a natural leader with the ability to build relationships with all levels and will be happy working with all levels. Ideally you will be CIPD qualified or have other relevant qualifications.
