A National Logistics provider is expanding their Supply Chain and is seeking to recruit a IT & Systems Manager to join their Northamptonshire site.
As a experienced IT & System Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that you Support business operations through effective day to day management of the Inventory & systems Team. You will ensure that stock availability is high and system performance is best supporting the Warehouse operation achieve the site KPIs. Also to ensure that Budget & Cost Control, Staff Management, IT Product and Supplier Management (Internal & External), Implementation, Change Management, Business Development, Internal & External Customer Relationship, Training and Documentation and any relevant industry specific regulatory compliance requirements.
Creating and defining sites Inventory and IT strategy in line with customers business plan
Key point of contact for any Inventory & IT related queries from the customer
Effective stock control management via Perpetual Inventory processes
Liaising with supply chain to resolve issues relating to BBD / damages / End of Line stock
Creation of weekly / period Inventory & Systems reports and present to customer
Produce timely and accurate management information, statistics and reports as required
Warehouse space management - Managing external storage / off site storage soloutions as required
Ensure that system health checks are carried out in order to protect system integrity
Identify and implement solutions
Project management of onsite projects
Liaising with product managers and suppliers to ensure the best service delivered
Facilitate creation and maintenance of required IT documentation
External and internal Customer Relationships management to support business development and existing operations
Support and manage all aspects of change and release management, using required predefined tools and processes, for IT systems within area of responsibility
Support or own solution design and delivery of IT solutions, services and processes within area of responsibility.
My client is looking for a commercially aware candidate with excellent communication and analytical skills, who will be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of Suppy Chain Proccess.
You will be managing a teamof 6, ensuring agreed KPI's are achieved but also providing training and development.
If you can demonstrate the above, the salary will be c £40'000 plus additional benefits.
