IT Asset & Compliance Manager

These solutions provide improved workflow performance, cutting operational costs whilst still providing faster more efficient customer service.
The IT Asset Manager will be a key driver in ensuring our asset management data is of the highest quality and that any process gaps are addressed using best practice asset management processes.
This excellent internal and external communicator will build relationships and collaborate internally with the relevant operational functions (support services, service delivery, IT and technical services) and externally with customers and key stakeholders to manage audit, compliance and data integrity.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the role will build on the existing strategic approach to the end to end asset lifecycle, embedding asset management process excellence, with a view to optimising and implementing a strong governance structure across all of our managed services customer's device estates.
It is envisaged that, for the right candidate, the scope of this role may also extend to wider data, systems, and compliance across the business.
A highly visible role within the organisation, the IT Asset and Compliance Manager will;
Collaborate with the Executive Director and other business leads to define and drive the customer asset management strategy.
In regard to data governance;
agree a set of asset management data accuracy targets, build an audit plan against these and build a suitable management reporting structure.
Execute these audits and report back results/trends to the Executive Director/leadership team.
Work with other business leads to develop process improvements that increase asset data accuracy, assist in executing these as necessary and subsequently monitor the data to measure the results.
Develop and maintain relationships with third party asset data stake holders such as customers, suppliers, strategic partners etc.

Inspire a culture of collaboration to resolve asset management issues within our business and our customers businesses.
Support the planning, development and maintenance of Service Management strategies, policies, and processes from an asset management perspective.
The ideal candidate will have a significant number of the following;
Asset Management experience, developing or implementing IT Asset Management lifecycle systems
Prior experience of an asset management tool e.g. ServiceNow (preferred), Â BMS Remedy, Aspera Smarttrack or Flexera
Customer facing experience
Mobile device management experience
Using ITIL best practice
Data analysis governance
Previous experience of working with functional heads to deliver projects
