Macildowie HR are working on an exciting opportunity for a Junior HR Advisor/HR Assistant to join a forward thinking and creative organisation where you will be embedding the HR department. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Administrator/Assistant to gain generalist exposure with an upcoming growing business. You will be the new face of HR and be the main point of contact for all queries. This role will offer development, projects and support from an energetic and fun team! This is a permanent position paying up to £26,000.
This role will give you the opportunity to get involved in various projects, working alongside the HR team and is a brilliant role if you are looking to develop and expand on your HR knowledge with the opportunity to progress into more of a fully fledged HR Advisor role in the future.
You will be the main point of contact for all HR queries including updates on policies and procedures. You will support the managers by upskilling and coaching on low level advice including disciplinary and grievances. There will be additional support from an external consultancy on complex ER issues. You will manage all absence and performance issues alongside line managers.
You will facilitate recruitment alongside line managers by advertising vacancies, managing applications, organising interviews, supporting in interviews for permanent positions and dealing with the communication with candidates. Following on from recruitment you will administer the process for new starters, including preparing contracts, offer letters, policies handbook and carry out all pre-employment checks including completion of right to work checks in compliance with current legislation.
Your role will enable you to build key relationships with stakeholders in the business and you will be able to offer your advice on any upcoming projects that you see fit for the business.
