Job Description

Macildowie HR are working exclusively on a retained basis with an organisation based in Leicester that are going through an exciting period of change! The organisation are looking for a part time L&D Assistant to work within a small team of 4 to provide a comprehensive and high standard of administrative service in Learning and Development. This is a permanent position offering 17.5 hours, based in central Leicester offering between £16000-£17,000 FTE plus other benefits.

The Role

You will work alongside the current L&D Assistant who also works part time to continue to deliver a customer orientated service within the organisation.

You will maintain the training and system records ensure it is accurate and up to date as well as logging all training interventions such as courses / conferences / workshops / seminar attendance, and e-learning completions

Regularly monitor training course bookings and take necessary action to prevent low attendance and ensure value for money.

Arranging travel and accommodation will fall within the remit of this role as will booking, confirming and sending out joining instructions and invitations for all external courses, conferences, workshops and seminars.

You will manage the administration of the E-Learning system and undertake other administrative tasks and projects as directed by the Learning and Development Manager.

The Candidate

Strong organisational skills are very important in this role as you will own the administration within the L&D function

You must be able to build and maintain relationships across all levels and take and distribute the internal calls for the team

L&D experience is not essential but a desire to get more involved and learn more about L&D rather than generalist HR aspects
