Macildowie HR is excited to be working in partnership with a financial service business in Northampton in looking for a L&D Coordinator on a part time, FTC basis. This is a newly created position that will give someone the opportunity to take lead in creating the L&D structure within the business. This role is paying up to £25,000 (FTE) pro rata and will be working approx. 25 hours per week on a 12 month FTC.
You will be developing the L&D structure within the business and supporting the HR Manager installing new courses processes, completing analysis of compliance data and developing effecting learning programmes for all employees. You will need to liaise with departmental trainers in order to create courses around 'train the trainer' and refresher courses. You will review and expand the professional qualification support programme and also take a responsibility in implementing the onboarding process for new starters. Alongside implementing this you will be required to coordinate the quarterly review process and create bitesize training where needed.
In order to support with the HR Manager, you will take responsibility of implementing the apprenticeship scheme, monitoring the progress of new starts and updating their terms of employment. You will be assisting with the recruitment process to ensure it is in line with current processes. As the HR Manager is in a stand along role, there will be general administration tasks to support with such as preparing new starter documentation, preparing the end of year pay reviews, assist with employee benefit administration and other ad hoc administration.
To be successful in this role, you will have had previous L&D experience and feel comfortable with developing and delivering training. You must be extremely organised and have the ability to work collaboratively with other people across the business. You will ideally have experience with managing projects as this will be a focus within the role. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to work within 'school hours'.
