Macildowie HR are working with an instantly recognisable UK brand name who are looking for an L&D Specialist in a new role to support in the delivery of an excellent training and development service to the business. Looking to pay around £34,000 - £37,000 depending on experience.
As the L&D Specialist you will be responsible for the development and delivery of the L&D business offering based on the L&D strategy ensuring that is aligned to and supports the business requirements.
Responsibilities will include managing the communication, design, development and delivery of a blended range of learning and development solutions which meet learning objectives. As well as the development, implementation and maintenance of e-learning solutions via the e-learning management system.
Projects will include the development of a framework and process for assessing and measuring the effectiveness of all learning and development activities, which ensures that findings are incorporated into future plans.
This role will work closely with the HR team; partnering to ensure that L&D plans meet business requirements and objectives, ensuring all learning and development activity is published and available for the target audience to view and register for.
You will work closely with the Leadership and Learning Manager to understand the L&D strategy and interpret this into an appropriate L&D offering and calendar of events and sessions.
You will have previous experience of managing a team of L&D professionals, familiar with the design and delivery of L&D interventions as well as experience of translating a L&D strategy. You will have the confidence to deliver solutions to senior management and will be able to come up with engaging and blended training styles. In addition to this you will be able to adapt your approach to a specific audience and have a strong communication style.
