Macildowie Recruitment is excited to be working in partnership with a fantastic retail organisation who are looking to add a completely new role to their HR & OD function. The newly created role is Training & Development Manager and will be appointed on a permanent basis, offering a competitive salary.
Having recognised the importance of establishing a strong training network within their wider framework' the business are looking to appoint someone who, together with the Head of HR, can design and deliver a comprehensive training and development programme.
The Training & Development Manager will be responsible for creating a diverse training programme, incorporating E Learning and training work shops into the scheme. They will work closely with senior management, the HR team and external providers to ensure that all the training material embodies and promotes their culture and values proposition. Working with the Head of HR they will analyse the data and ensure that metrics are in place, alongside setting training priorities and objectives.
This role will incorporate 20% delivery so the successful candidate will be required to have some experience in this area and naturally be a confident communicator able to engage across all levels of a business.
The successful candidate will be an experienced L&D professional. A strong foundation in E Learning Design would be advantageous for this role. The Training & Development Manager should be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of and experience in various learning methods and metrics. They will be a proven collaborator, able to engage and influence audience and create an enthusiastic and dynamic training environment.
