This is an outstanding opportunity to join a well established HR division as their new Learning and Development Manager. The client are looking for an experienced L&D professional who can demonstrate previous experience of designing robust L&D frameworks which encompass a blended approach to learning. This is a national role covering multiple sites across the UK and will as such include frequent travel and possible overnight stays on a weekly basis.
As the Learning and Development Manager you will be responsible for driving the team to deliver a L&D framework that will help to grow and shape employees, encouraging business growth and the achievement of business wide objectives. You will encourage collaborative working with the wider HR team, Senior Managers and SLT. The establishment of a blended approach to learning will be the ultimate aim, with particular attention paid to a comprehensive E-learning programme which will provide harmonisation to the L&D framework as the business considers its expansion plans. Management and leadership development will be a critical component of the strategy and will be a particular area of the focus for the L&D Manager themselves. Ensuring delivery of PDPs, creative workshop programmes, strong relationships with external providers and a passionate and engaging L&D function will be core objectives of the Learning & Development Manager.
In a business that moves at incredible pace and is going through a consistent transformation programme, the Learning & Development Manager must be able to demonstrate resilience. Previous experience of designing a learning framework for a sales or customer service environment is desired for this role. The ability to motivate, develop and drive a team is an essential requirement. This role will require someone to have a real passion for development and be comfortable taking a hands off approach to delivery in order to concentrate on the business wide agenda and the long term goals.
