Reporting to the HR Shared Service Manager and as part of a progressive Shared Service team, the Learning Services role will also work closely with the Leadership and Learning Manager to develop and deliver the L&D offering for the Society based on the strategy that is aligned to meet the business requirements. The role will manage the design, development and delivery of a blended range of learning solutions, with a heavy focus on e-learning and leading a team of 4 L+D facilitators. Day to day development, implementation and maintenance of e-learning solutions via the LMS (Learning Management System), in addition to relationship management with a range of third party providers.Â Development of on-going processes for evaluating the effectiveness of learning and ensure that all activity is delivered in line with agreed timescales and budgets.
Customer focus is essential; work with the HR Business Partners and key operational management across the family of businesses to fully understand and implement learning interventions which meet business requirements and objectives. As a key member of the HR Shared Service leadership team, support in the development of the HR Administrators to ensure that learning activities are published accurately on the LMS and are available for the target audience to view and register for.Â Produce data to support future initiatives and ensure that all learning material is up to date with any legislative or regulatory changes.
CIPD (or equivalent) certificate in L&D.
Experience of managing a team of L&D professionals within a changing environment.Â
A background in design and delivery of learning solutions especially on-line technology is essential, as well as up to date knowledge of the latest developments in training.Â
Proven track record in the translation of an L&D strategy into an L&D offering.
Experience of using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline would be beneficial
