In this fixed term contract until Early 2018 (and potential to stay with the business) you will be producing a wide variety of different reports/packs as well as evaluating their month-end/management accounts processes and making changes to improve efficiency

THE ROLE & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
The opportunity on offer is for a Reporting / Manegement Accountant to join this very successful business on a fixed term contract(april 2018) with a salary of £40,000 to £45,000
You will be a Qualified or Part-qualified Accountant coming from a large, complex business
-Ownership of the monthly management accounting process including implementation, consolidation and reconciliation (some process reviewing and free reign to design a better process for this global GIANT)
-Assisting with the production of Statutory Accounts and Financial statements
-Preparation of monthly Management pack
-Preparation of monthly P&L
-Standardisation Project coordination
-Subsidary Accounting and Group Accounting
-Responsibility for stock management / stock balance
-Group cash flow forecasting
- You will also be a part of a large standardisation project
EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
You will have a real desire to be in a well rounded, varied role with aspects of the usual management accounts but also aspects of more 'free reign' and technical responsibilities.
- CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified or Part-qualified (potentially)
- Proven experience in management accounts is essential
- Stock Management experience would be ideal
- Group / Subsidary accounting experience would be ideal
- Ambitious and driven to progress into a large organisation in a large team
- Ability to make the job your own with little supervision and direction
