The Opportunity

Macildowie Marketing are currently recruiting for a Marketing Coordinator to join a market leading B2B/B2C organisation located in Leicestershire.

You will be responsible for offering support to the Marketing Communications Manager with implementing the marketing strategy, creating compelling marketing communications to attract and retain profitable customers and to build brand recognition in support of business objectives.

The Marketing Coordinator will work with partner agencies to design and deliver marketing communications incorporating, but not limited to; literature, advertising, PR, events and exhibitions, Point of Sale (POS), e-comms, website content and newsletters.

Key Responsibilities

-Writing marketing communication materials to help differentiate from the competition and support in drafting the marketing communications strategy
-Proofreading all marketing communication ahead of publishing
-Coordinate the update of the Department Activities Calendar (including Social Media)
-Regularly monitoring the media and advertising communications related to the industry and informing about new trends and developing new ideas and approaches
-Develop methods of understanding customers, competitors and future trends within the industry and
within marketing communications
-Monitor and review competitor activity
-Offer support on event organisation
-Offer support on online communication: websites, social media, marketing automation etc. and measuring success against agreed metrics

Key Requirements

*Relevant marketing qualification and experience in a similar role within an organisation of scale
*Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with the public and employees at all levels and functions across the organisation
*Able to build and maintain relationships
*Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
*Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
*Critical attention to detail
*Ability to work well under pressure
*Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines/targets
*Forward thinking able to think through implications
*Flexible approach to work, remains calm under pressure
*Desire to learn and take on new responsibilities
*Demonstrable creativity, positivity and ability to converse at all levels of management
*Enthusiastic with a hands-on approach, keen to champion the customer across the business
