Macildowie Marketing are working with a leading B2B organisation with a number recognisable brands to recruit a interim Marketing Communications Manager in Derby. This will be a an interim contract for a minimum period of six months.
This is a job that creates and delivers marketing communication plans to support the company objectives. The role is targeted on delivering marketing campaigns that result in increased sales and market share of for a number of products. You will have one report and also work closely with the sales team and other internal teams to deliver various campaigns.
-Work with the senior marketing team to create marketing communication plans to support the brand marketing strategy and deliver against company objectives.
-Working with the marketing team to deliver marketing plans that encompass the full range of the marketing mix.
-Responsible for managing and developing the Marketing Assistant.
-Responsible for delivering sector specific marketing campaigns that help deliver growth.
-Responsible for supporting product training programmes with campaigns to promote training and the development of materials for the market sector.
-Responsible for product launch campaigns working with the Product Management team to communicate launches and updates and produce supporting materials.
-Responsible for all Press Release communications and Social Media activity working with an PR Agency.
Day to day activities and tasks will include:
-Writing and delivering direct mail and email campaigns.
-Organising seminars and exhibitions including promotion, PR activity and event organisation.
-Producing advertising and point of sale material for merchant and product campaigns.
-Delivering internal and external communications for product launches and updates.
-Writing and delivering presentations and briefings to the sales force and key customers for each campaign and product launch.
-Manage all associated Press Release and social media activity for each campaign.
-Manage website content for each campaign and product and monitor website activity.
-Analyse and report on campaign effectiveness monitoring results such as open rates, website visits, enquiries and sales leads generated.
-Design and deliver merchandise, brochures, sales literature and training materials.
-Use of systems including email marketing tools, SAP for ordering, Salesforce.com for data and campaign tracking and website content management systems.
-Managing all literature, brochures, point of sale material, merchandise, training materials and exhibition equipment.
-Working with agencies including suppliers of design, print, merchandise, PR and literature fulfilment to deliver materials.
Experience and skills required:
-Educated to degree level or Marketing Diploma
-At least 5 years experience in a marketing communications role.
-Experienced in managing staff.
-Competent with MS Office suite.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
-Organised and able to plan own workload.
