Marketing Executive
St Albans

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role will bring a high calibre of marketing to a fast-paced environment. You will work in a fun environment and can demonstrate sound marketing expertise, commercial acumen and a strong customer service ethic.

The primary responsibility of this role is to own, manage and develop marketing campaigns that drive footfall and implement tactical campaign activity to support the retail calendar and national marketing plan. You will be expected to work within agreed financial budgets and time deadlines and to demonstrate sound marketing expertise, commercial acumen and a strong customer service ethic.

The key responsibilities:
Support the Head of Marketing in the implementation of the national marketing plan and retail calendar, supporting campaigns, key trading dates and initiatives
Own the marketing support for one or more category area.
Support the launch of new initiatives either nationally or to local markets, e.g. new store openings, rebrands, new products/services.
Monitor the effectiveness, measure and report on marketing activities
Demonstrate sound commercial awareness throughout marketing activities
Develop tactical marketing initiatives for attraction/engagement/retention of customers.
Manage relationships with key suppliers to KPIs, including creative agencies, print and print management, PR, Media, merchandise, graphic designers, AV and experiential
Identify and champion opportunities to enhance customer experience
Create, develop and manage marketing assets, including writing copy for different audiences and channels, collateral creations, POS, video, digital images, social media content
Ensure timely, relevant and accurate content is maintained across channels for all customer groups, e.g. website, intranet, POS, eComms, in-centre screens and music
Give brand guidance support for digital marketing including web, social media and CRM
Keep accurate records of costs and ROI across all marketing activities you are involved in

Role Requirements
Marketing Degree or CIM Professional Certificate level
A minimum of 2 years of broad marketing experience across the marketing mix
Able to develop and work effectively to project plans, deadlines and budgets
Managing quality and effective output from marketing suppliers
