The Opportunity

An exciting position has arisen for a Part Time Marketing Manager to join Macildowie's leadership team and help take our brand to the next level. You will be the guardian of our brand voice, how we position our value proposition and all things social.

Based at our HQ in Nottingham (a 5 minute walk from the train station and the tram) you will ideally be available to work circa 3 days a week (or fewer hours over 4 or 5 days).

The Marketing Manager will sit on the leadership team and report directly into our Chief Operating Officer with full responsibility for the marketing strategy and budget. As a key business partner to our recruitment managers, you will oversee and drive forward marketing activity in both the online and offline space, including our website, events, content marketing, advertising and social channels.

Key Responsibilities

This is a stand-alone role however you will have the support of an experienced admin team and external agencies where required. This will be a massively varied and rewarding role with just some of the key focus areas summarised below:

-Develop, deliver and measure the effectiveness of Macildowie's marketing strategy, which is a crucial part of our ambitious business growth targets for 2019/2020
-Grow our brand to best service our three key audiences (candidates, clients and employees). This will include maintaining brand consistency across all communications
-Oversee the Macildowie website (via a CMS), keeping content fresh and up to date and liaising with our agency partners
-Manage the relationships with our external partners
-Manage and develop our social media presence through creative content, including blog posts, imagery and copy. Leading from the front and advising across the business on best practice
-Deliver digital and offline collateral to add to our customer value proposition and enhance the customer experience
-Partner with our Head of Talent to enhance our 'Work for Us' strategy and attract the best talent to the business with creative campaigns
-Write and submit awards entries in partnership with our PR Agency in line with an annual awards calendar
-Innovate with new marketing techniques and technologies to ensure we stay ahead of the competition

You will have demonstrable experience of developing marketing strategies and plans and be skilled across the mix with the passion and confidence to drive innovation and inspire creativity in a pacey, fun and commercial environment.

This position would be suitable for someone used to working in a stand-alone role who is prepared to roll their sleeves up and be hands-on, especially with content generation. You will be highly organised with a keen eye for detail and quality and ultimately show the passion and desire to own and grow our brand.
