Job Description

Macildowie are working with a business based in Newark who are looking for a Management Accountant to join the business on a 12 months fixed term contract starting in December 2016/January 2017. The position is also likely to be offering part-time hours (3 days per week). Working within a medium sized finance team in a very well known established organisation and in a finance team packed with experience and knowledge in the this particular sector.

This opportunity comes with a salary of circa £30,000 (pro-rata'd to 20-25 hours per week)

This particular position will be for 12 month and you will have the following responsibilities:

- Preparation of annual budgets
- Full responsibility for budgeting/forecasting
- Production and presentation of performance reports to senior management
- Query resolution
- Month end responsibilities
- Other duties involving the wider finance function

You will be a motivated, enthusiastic accountant with strong budgeting experience

You will be comfortable with meeting strict deadlines and turning around reports in a short space of time and then presenting your findings to senior management

You will be a part-qualified, fully qualified or QBE Management Accountant

Previously experience working in a part-time role and therefore having strong prioritisation skills would be beneficial, as would having very strong excel skills.
