Macildowie HR is recruiting for a unique, part time, HR Administration position. Sitting in the Education sector, this organisation is willing to take on a candidate who has little to no experience in HR, and they will invest the time and training into you. The only experience they ask for is in Education - it is all about the person!
Part time, paying £10,500 (£21,000 pro rata) + bonus + very competitive holiday

The Job
As the first point of contact you will have high emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills, dealing with the initial contact of all employees before directing to the HR Manager whom you will report into. Your relationship with the members of staff will be key because of this, but also because you will assist in the implementation of the new HR system and will support management through this.


You will have a broad range of duties, including managing the administration for the full recruitment process where you will run reference checks, co-ordinate background checks and keep the systems, records and registers up to date.


As well as owning the administration duties, such as monthly reports and letter writing, it will also be your responsibility to analyse and evaluate the HR Administration procedures. There will be the opportunity to get involved with other, ad hoc, HR projects.


The Candidate
Having spent time working within the Education industry, you will have a good understanding of the organisational structure and will now be keen to pursue a career in HR - you do not need to have experience in HR to apply! It is all about the person as they are looking for someone emotionally intelligent with an independent working style and a high attention to detail; you have to have the desire to get stuck in and learn because, in the words of my client, 'we will put so much investment into this person that in two years they will be fully fledged HR'.
