Macildowie HR is excited to be working with a vibrant manufacturing business based in Kettering to hire a Part Time HR assistant to join their team. This is a permanent role, working 20 hours over 5 days, and paying around £22,000 per annum as a full time equivalent.
Reporting directly to the group's HR director, this role will ensure the accurate maintenance of the HR database and hard files for each employee within the group along with maintaining confidentiality and ensuring appropriate steps taken to conform to the GDPR.
You will also manage the timely and accurate delivery of all administrative elements of the HR processes from recruitment through to termination of employment and support Managers with any HR related query or activity, escalating to the Group HRD where appropriate.
Another key aspect will be to complete correspondence to external contacts as appropriate and advise and support on a variety of personal and employee relations issues, ensuring confidentiality is maintained.
The ideal candidate will have previous HR experience in a busy production environment, with experience of working with a HRIS system
You will also need to be competent in Microsoft packages (Word, Exel and Powerpoint) and have strong organisational and administrative skills.
As a person you will need to engage with people at all levels, build strong working relationships and deliver information in a comprehensive yet understandable manner.
