Part Time HR Officer - Northamptonshire - Permanent - £30,000 FTE

Macildowie are pleased to be working exclusively on a rare part time HR Officer opportunity which will be recruited on a permanent basis. Paying c£30,000 FTE and reporting into the HR Manager the role will work with a small number of sites in the Northamptonshire region and will be recruited based on working 3 days per week.

The Role
The HR Officer, reporting into the HR Manager, will work as part of the team providing HR support to a small number of sites. The HR Officer will be the go-to point of contact for all HR queries so the role will carry the variety you might expect; employee relations matters, policy queries, general management support and performance. Being a professional organisation, the expectation of the post is that there is a good mix of reactive and proactive HR ER matters will be present but no in the volume you would come to expect in other industries which leaves time, and therefore opportunity, to proactively make a difference to the organisation.

The key points on the agenda for the HR team moving forward will be around driving performance and efficiencies, employee engagement and embedding a new operating model. There may be ad hoc projects such as small TUPEs, recruitment drives in collaboration with the recruitment manager and well being projects.

The Person
You will be a competent HR Advisor/Officer with collaborative and open minded approach. You will have strong relationship building skills and will be comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders and personalities in a multi-sited environment. You will have up to date employment law knowledge and flexibility to travel to sites as required sites this role will be responsible are across Northamptonshire but there will be a requirement on occasion to travel to Head Office in Nottingham. Home working can also be accommodated one of the three days a week.
