Macildowie are working with a well-know organisation in Castle Donnington who are looking for a Payroll and Benefits Officer to join their HR team. You will be responsible for processing payroll for the company. They have some oversees employees so you will manage the relationship between the organisation and the outsourced payroll company for those employees as well. Benefits will be another key aspect of the role and you will oversee their Private Health Care, Pension and Life Assurance cover for all employees. Liaising with 3rd party providers to ensure they are up to date with all new starters and leavers as well as checking costs will form part of your role as well. You will get the chance to take on generalist HR administration duties as well. This will be a small and busy HR team where you will have a variety of responsibility and you must be flexible to get involved in duties outside of the job description as well.
The Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience of processing payroll and excellent system skills will be essential. This only needs to be the administration of payroll and work with Cascade, itrent, Select HR or Midland HR would be ideal. On the payroll side, knowledge of HMRC's, p11's and p45's would help. Previous experience of working in a HR team would be a benefit as well as a desire to monitor and improve the organisations benefit offering. You should be enthusiastic and enjoy working within a team environment.
