A reputable company based in Nottingham are seeking an experienced Payroll Assistant to join their Finance Dept. on a temporary basis. This person will be responsible for a monthly payroll within a large organisation. If you are immediately available and have previous experience than this could be the right payroll job for you.
THE ROLE & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the monthly production of payroll for >400 employees
Ensure the accurate deduction of Tax and NI
Process holiday, sick and maternity and paternity related payments
Ensure all additional hours are processed in a timely manner
Keep accurate records and maintain information for completion of P11D's
Deal with employee queries in relation to pay, benefits, holiday and absence
Be responsible for accurate maintenance of payroll associated records and filing
EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
Experience of computerised payroll administration and processing is essential
Current knowledge of payroll processing and principles including; taxation, statutory payments, auto-enrolment and legislation
Experience with iTrent is desirable
