Macildowie HR are working with a large and very successful business in North Leicestershire to recruit a brand new role for the team. The organisation are looking for a Pensions & Benefits Coordinator to join them permanently. Offering a salary between £25,000-£28,000 plus a whole hoard of really great benefits!
In this role you will, facilitate and administer the insurance based employee benefits across the organisation and will report in to the Pensions & Benefits Manager, who is celebrating their 10 year anniversary this year!
You will support all administrative activities in relation to the pension schemes, this will include the provision of insurance based employee benefits such as PMI, GIP and life assurance.
You will act as a central coordinator for all Risk Benefit providers, ensuring contracts are in place, monitoring the performance and ensuring they comply with service standards.
Supporting the Pension & Benefits Manager in the renewal and review process for group risk benefits, maximising cost savings and service levels and enhancing the benefit to the Company and employees.
Assisting in the implementation and embedding of a Company Health & Wellbeing strategy together with the Pension & Group Risk Services Manager, to highlight areas of improvement and initiate actions when needed.
There will be lots of projects for you to get involved with whilst in the role, such as pensions changes and staged contributions, revamping all of the benefits, not just the risk benefits.
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience in a pension, group risk support or financial services role.
- Excellent organisational skills and when required the ability to work at speed
- The ability to challenge and negotiate
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including presentation of numerical data
- Capable of using discretion and maintain confidentiality
- It would be advantageous to be working towards a pension qualification PMI/CIPP or equivalent
This will be a very varied role for someone to get stuck in to, you will continue to build on your pensions and reward experience and knowledge whilst supporting on a number of projects that will impact the wider business.
