If you are fluent (written and speaking) in French and looking for a career in HR then you should be very interested in this role. Working for an international retail company, at their global headquarters in Nottingham you will play a key role in the day-to-day HR of the Nottingham Office but also the communication from the French offices as well.
A key part of the role will be translating and interpreting communication from foreign offices. This will primarily be from their French offices but could be from their Spanish and Italian offices as well. You will be advising on policy and procedures, providing information on foreign communication to line mangers and key stakeholders. It will be important to remain in line with company culture and ethics, acting as an accurate translator for legal letters to the business. You should challenge where appropriate and be a reliable source of information to make key business decisions from. There will be chance to get involved in some project work surrounding employment costs and ensuring they are being optimised and qualified sufficiently.
The Ideal Candidate:
It is essential that you are native level spoken (written and spoken) in French - Spanish or Italian would be a benefit. It would help if you had some Law/Junior HR level experience but if you are wanting to take your first step into HR and you have strong language skills then your application would be consider as well. You should have a desire to constantly improve the service given and be able to appropriately challenge thinking when it coming to employment costs.
