Job Description

Purchasing Administrator!
Macildowie are working with a manufacturer for iron and steel, who is looking for a purchasing administrator as an extension to their team. This is because they are going through a great period of growth!

Are you someone who has administration experience and are interested in joining a purchasing department to support with administrative tasks and develop your skills? Apply today!!

Location: Burton
Salary: £23,000 - £27,000 dependant on experience
Hours: 8:30am 5:00pm, 5 days on site


  • Use your administration experience and develop your understanding of purchasing
  • Be part of a company who is expanding their sites/warehouses
  • Purchasing experience is not essential but advantageous


  • Respond to incoming calls and emails
  • Update system with order dates and confirm purchase orders
  • Organise paperwork and calendar meetings
  • Coordinate with suppliers and other departments
  • Place orders for supplies and uniforms
  • Participate in meetings and record minutes


  • Great organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in Outlook, Excel and computer systems
  • Desire to join the purchasing team to support with administrative tasks
